Motel 6 York, PA

Service has been great, we did have an issue with the hot water not working and they moved us to a better room that it did.

I want to thank management and staff for all they do to make me feel at home. They are always willing to help me with anything I need to feel comfortable. The rooms are clean and everything works in my room. If you’re looking for a quiet place with friendly staff at affordable rate Motel 6 is it. Thank You Tonya and Jeremy for going over and beyond to make our experience a comfortable experience.

The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful in getting me situated when I was having card issues. Extremely grateful for her and the service was amazing.

Overall a good stay at a good price room we stayed in could use a touch up in the tub but still was a fun time for a birthday weekend !!

It was great for 1 night room 301, nice bed, nice room, all to ourselves, but overall, there was cigarette smokes on the sheets the paint came off the walls in the shower, you have to go downstairs and cook your meal and head all the way up, which I didn’t like no microwave or fridge in the room. All Just shelves and tons of outlets, it was super cold when walking into the hotel, but overall it was good for one night

Excellent service and care. Always there for you when you need them for your stay to be comfortable. The prices are excellent, rooms are clean, and functional.

I stayed there for the second time a few weeks ago. I was impressed with the new decor. The staff I was in contact with was very helpful Anda pleasure to deal with. As far as reviews about roaches, I have been in hotels with same issue. I blame that on upper management .The right exterminator would get that under control. Maybe owner and upper management should come stay sometime .All and my experience was good.

My stay was on the 3rd floor, room 327. The room was rather surprisingly large and even though it was a smoking room, it didn't even smell like one. It fit our family of 4 cozily. The check in process was super simple, tip for when you get there to make it even faster: have your ID/passport and have your other guests be ready to show theirs as well. If I would've been aware my first time, it would've made life easier but this was my first time staying here. The front desk lady was super kind and helped explain the pet policy (we had our cute little service dog chihuahua). No pet fee which was great! The appliances were a nice bright white inside and the towels looked brand new. Even though I was iffy to stay here because of some of the other reviews talking about bugs and burn holes in the linens, I had no such issues. The room had not one bug in it, not even an ant. One of those spotted latternflies tried getting in but everyone in York knows those things are everywhere to be honest. The housekeeper made sure during my stay that I had clean linens and towels any morning we needed new ones. All the staff I had the pleasure of talking to were professional but also treated us like human beings unlike some of the places we've stayed at that treat us more like customers. So that little subtle touch definitely made our stay all the more welcoming. This Motel 6 may look a little worn on the outside but inside it has a heart of gold, the staff.
